SELECTED PROCESSING RELATIONSHIPS
PARTNER NETWORK

Processing partners should earn your trust.
Ours earn access.

ORCA Merchants maintains a carefully selected network of processing relationships built around reliability, relevant expertise, and long-term merchant support.

SELECTEDVALIDATEDMONITORED
THE ORCA STANDARD

Highly selective from the beginning.

ORCA does not open its merchant network to every processing company that wants introductions. Before a prospective partner reaches probationary status, we assess its reputation, relevant experience, service model, current merchant feedback, operational capabilities, and ability to support the specific merchant profiles it intends to serve.

WHAT WE EVALUATE

Every relationship begins with due diligence.

Partner selection is based on evidence, direct conversations, and fit for the merchants ORCA serves. A recognizable name alone is not enough.

01Reputation and operating history
02Relevant high-risk industry expertise
03Experience with comparable merchant sizes
04Existing and ongoing merchant feedback
05Underwriting consistency
06Funding and account stability
07Customer service responsiveness
08Payment technology and integrations
09Direct partner interviews
10Reference checks for new relationships
PARTNER LIFECYCLE

Selection is a process.
Trust is earned over time.

01

Preliminary fit review

We assess the processor's reputation, supported industries, merchant profile, operating model, technology, and service capabilities.

02

Direct diligence

ORCA conducts partner interviews, reviews references for new relationships, and examines available merchant feedback and performance information.

03

Controlled probation

Partners that pass diligence begin with limited introductions while ORCA closely monitors underwriting, onboarding, funding, and support.

04

Ongoing partner status

Performance continues to be reviewed. Partner access can be limited, paused, or ended when ORCA's standards are no longer met.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD

Passing the initial review is only the beginning.

New processing partners enter a controlled probationary period. Merchant introductions remain selective while ORCA monitors the experience from initial application through active processing.

  • Introductions remain limited and intentional
  • Application and onboarding communication is tracked
  • Underwriting consistency is reviewed
  • Merchant feedback is collected
  • Funding and technical support are monitored
  • Unresolved concerns can pause new routing
ONGOING MONITORING

Partner status is earned, monitored, and never assumed permanent.

ORCA continues evaluating the merchant experience after onboarding. A partner must continue meeting the standards that earned access in the first place.

01

Merchant feedback

02

Underwriting consistency

03

Onboarding experience

04

Funding reliability

05

Support responsiveness

06

Unexpected account disruption

WHEN STANDARDS ARE MISSED

Pause. Review.
Protect the merchant.

When a serious concern arises and the merchant has been complete and forthright, ORCA acts to understand the issue, limit further exposure, and prepare the merchant for what comes next.

01

Pause new introductions

New merchant routing to the partner is paused while the concern is reviewed.

02

Investigate the pattern

ORCA reviews the facts, available performance information, and similar merchant experiences to determine whether the problem could repeat.

03

Present a backup solution

Affected merchants are notified, presented with a backup processing solution, and supported through the cleanest possible transition.

MERCHANT CONTINUITY

Support should continue after account activation.

A processing relationship should not become the merchant's problem to manage alone. ORCA remains available to receive feedback, identify concerns, communicate with the processing relationship, and help determine the clearest next step.

The objective is not simply approval. It is a reliable processing solution that continues to fit the merchant as the business operates and grows.

PARTNER STANDARDS FAQ

Direct answers about our network.

Understand how processing relationships are selected, monitored, and held accountable.

Does ORCA work with every payment processor?+

No. ORCA is highly selective about the processing relationships that receive merchant introductions. A prospective partner must pass an initial evaluation before it can enter the probationary period.

What does ORCA evaluate before approving a partner?+

We consider reputation, relevant industry expertise, comparable merchant experience, underwriting consistency, funding reliability, technology, support standards, partner interviews, references, and available merchant feedback.

How does the probationary period work?+

New partners receive limited introductions while ORCA monitors communication, underwriting, onboarding, funding, technical implementation, and merchant support. Passing the initial review does not create permanent partner status.

What happens when ORCA identifies a serious concern?+

ORCA pauses new introductions while reviewing the issue and determining whether it could affect similar merchants. Affected merchants are notified, presented with a backup processing solution, and supported through the cleanest possible transition.

Can a processor lose ORCA partner status?+

Yes. Partner status is continuously earned. Repeated service problems, inconsistent underwriting, unexpected disruption, poor communication, or other reliability concerns may result in restricted access or removal from the network.

How can a processing provider apply?+

Experienced processing organizations can begin a conversation with ORCA. Prospective partners should be prepared to explain the industries, merchant sizes, locations, technologies, and support standards they can reliably serve.
